Tails It Is!
By Blue Dog on August 3, 2012
The position and the movement of your dog’s tail tells a lot about the state of mind of your dog. 3 Tail Positions : 1.) high (confident) 2.) neutral ( a relaxed/ happy dog) 3.) low (submission) Your dog’s tail wagging motion and speed gives insight to your dog’s state of mind. 4 Happy Wagging Motions 1.) large wags at a moderate speed ( happy to see you) 2.) small wags at a moderate speed 3.) small wags at slow speed ( happy/content) 4.) small wags at fast speed ( happy) The wag you should be concerned about is a slow and small rhythmic movement. Your dog is not sure and is ill at ease. Your dog needs to be redirected immediately before your dog lashes out.
