In Montgomery County Maryland, it is easy to figure out if dog care/service business  is legal or not.    If you take your dog to a residential address, then that should be a red flag to you.  Montgomery County or City of Rockville does not zone or license businesses in residential zoned areas.  Another red flag is if the dog is picked up at your home and taken “somewhere” or to their “home”. The “business” should be able to show you their license issued by either the City of Rockville or by Montgomery County to prove they are a legitimate business.
